Here's a couple of models and Andy Panda and his Papa too. Andy may not be the greatest or most interesting of characters but some of his shorts are among my all-time favorites, "The Wacky Weed" and "Andy Apple" come to mind immediately.
The coolest thing about the Lantz shorts is that they are really animator driven, well after the TV/UPA plague on animation. Alex Lovy and Sid Marcus' films are hilarious with strong Don Patterson and Art Davis influences. Jack Hannah's are pretty but bland, but Al Coe and Roy Jenkins did some fantastic work for him.

I LOVE Papa Panda's model sheet! For some strange reason, I don't remember seeing an Andy Panda cartoon, hmm...
I've seen very few Andy Panda cartoons. I've seen even less Lantz art like this.
Hope to see some Woody & Wally stuff soon.

Ah, I don't think I've seen one of these, but I agree with cheezykat, Papa looks great, haha :)
Model sheets are fascinaitng to me :)
The model sheet looks wonderful. Pandas are such playful creatures to use, but Andy Panda was a true bastard.
Twenty years after viewing his cartoons my rage at a virtual panda continues. They did something right...
