Goober Animatic Clips

I haven't really done much posting related to my cartoon lately, I'm just too caught up with studying and watching classics and work and family and the list goes on, so I pieced together a couple of clips from the animatic I made so you can get an idea of what the story's about. It's just two quick scenes and the opening, which I included because the song is great. Anyone recognize it? You might have heard it from a couple of sources. The drawings suck, they're just quick thumbnail sketches. Goober's voice is missing in one clip, the file I used was created before my stepson recorded the dialogue. I provided the rest of the voices, the bee's voice is just sped up using software. I've started animating a little more of it (very little) but I'm really gonna spend more time working on it. Let me know what you think, good or bad.

The main character looks too much like Jimmy the Idiot Boy.

You think so? Because I've never seen Jimmy look that crappy.

lol. has potential.

The bee drawings could be a lot more solid. The pansy design is very good.

Thanks Rajesh, yeah the drawings blow. I'll be putting a lot more effort into each scene, I never really went back and redrew the storyboard.

i can see the potential, but the stings could be improved, like a few bees using their stingers through his clothes to stick him to a fence...

Thanks for the comments. I'm going to be laying those scenes out soon. I've been working on the part just before that and will be coming up on "the attack" scenes. I'm definetly going to be changing things. I'd like it to be a little over the top. I just might embellish on you're idea. When it's done someday look for an anonymous thank you credit. :)
