Other standout artists IMO were Bill Woggon and later John Lucas when drawing Katy Keene, as well as Archie parent franchise artists Samm Schartz and Bob Bolling, both of whom wrote and the latter of which often used an "Airplane!" style way of punnery: Veronica, when the gang's shrunken on a paper airplane in some oddball story on leaning to the left all the better to navigate: "My daddy can't stand anyone who leans to the left..".. then of coruse the Stan Goldbergs and other wannas bes of Mr.DeCarlo..:rolleyes:

Gee, that artwork looks familar. I don't know much about comic history, but did DeCarlo work for Archie Comics?
Yep, DeCarlo was the one who developed the look of the Archie comics.
