Here's another of the six shorts that George Gordon directed for MGM. I may be mistaken but I believe this was the last one he directed. Theres some beautiful backgrounds here and some great animation from Michael Lah, Ed Barge, and Jack Carr. This cartoon also has one of my favorite scores by Scott Bradley. Enjoy.
Thanks for uploading this one, and the upcoming Pest in House post. :)
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait! :D
Wow, Barney Bear's featured in the UK's Boomerang idents, and I never knew who he was until now...
ReplyDeleteHi! Great to see this cartoon again. It was on a VHS I owned some times ago, with titles like "Red Hot Riding Hood", "King-Size Canary" and "Screwy Squirrel".
ReplyDeleteCan you upload the remainder of those shorts, I couldn't find them anywhere. One of them is a Fantasia-type cartoon like "Corny Concerto", one with a Christmas theme and one that was named "Lonesome Stranger".
Thanks for help!
