Here's Tex's first use of the George and Lenny characters from "Of Mice and Men". This is also Willoughby's first appearance and I think Tex was credited with providing his voice. One of the greatest run cycles involving a cartoon dog is in this short so I decided to slow it down so we can check out each of those great drawings.

I love this one. Beautiful drawing, layouts, animation.. And characterization! Who says Tex couldn't handle character well?
And that opening shot is so fantastic, Freleng reused the whole thing for "Foxy By Proxy".. 12 years later!
