Fleischer Features

I was watching Mr. Bug Goes To Town the other day and loving how beautifully animated it was, so I figured I'd post some model sheets from both Fleischer movies. Though not the greatest of movies there's plenty of great animation to enjoy in both Mr. Bug and Gulliver's Travels, except the rotoscoping. I hate that crap, and Gabby too. The Gulliver models are particularly nice with all those notes on them, they help a moron like me draw them better.

I'll post some of Droopy through the years. I love Ed Benedict's designs but his Droopy is mighty ugly, you'll see what I mean when I post them.

I hate that Benedict Droopy too.

I haven't seen Mr Bug yet.
Is there a decent version to by.
How would you compare it to Gulliver?

Mr. Bug was released on DVD as Hoppity Goes To Town but I think it's hard to come by though I'm sure it's online somewhere. I haven't seen Gulliver's travels since I was a kid so I really can't compare the two. The music in Mr. Bug can be forgettable at times and Honey Bee is so bland and boring she may as well not even speak. I'm sure other people probably find them annoying but I really liked the Smack and Swat characters, there the biggest reason I enjoyed it.

I think Pinto should've stick to Goofy than Gabby.
