Bob Hope as an actual cartoon character. Unbelievable, and drawn by the incredible Owen Fitzgerald. I must be dreaming. Now if only Bing Crosby himself was also caricatured in these comics. That would make these just about right, IMO. I could have sworn I saw Dorothy Lamour in this too.
Do you know when these were published, by the way? I'm assuming about the early 1950s or so, but I'm not sure. I just wanted to know.

Hi Roberto, the Bob Hope comics started in the early 50s and lasted into the late 60s.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed this same comic was on Cartoon Snap two years ago. Oh well. I'll have to post another Bob Hope to make up for it.
