Didn't Blair take some of those poses for his book from the character layout poses for the MGM cartoons he worked on? I think those poses where also used in the model sheets. If so, then Blair used a lot of drawings by Claude Smith. (For example, the fat kid diving into a pool in Blair's animation book is from the model sheet of the pilgrim from "Jerky Turkey".)
Knowing how much Blair swiped for that book, I wouldn't be surprised if that was originally an Eisenberg pose!
