Although I love seeing animation by the 'greats' (Frank, Ollie, Milt), I really clamour to the stuff done by the other, less-discussed old men like Les Clark, John Lounsbery & Eric Larson. Although they weren't in the spotlight as much as the other guys, they're animation really stands out to me. This scene by Les Clark is one of those scenes that makes your body move along to the beat & really catches your eye. It's a very fluid & well posed piece that grabs your attention.
Anyone else notice that the exact same animation is used for each of the three kids?
ReplyDeleteWell, of course he just drew it once and traced the other two, spectre. These guys had deadlines to meet, you know.
