There are so many cool things about this cartoon worth noting, including the really nice Shorty Rogers score (one of my favorite jazz musicians) and the pretty loose, fluid animation. I'm surprised UPA was still doing animation like this even in 1952. Two years later with "When Magoo Flew," the animation got a whole lot less fun and even boring to look at, at least to me.<br /><br />I had no idea Paul Julian did work at UPA. I always associated him with a lot of Friz Freleng's cartoons.
